What it means
The user exists, but signing in is not allowed because the email address has not been confirmed yet.
The usual cause in an AI-built app
Email confirmation is turned on for the project, but the AI-generated sign-up screen sends people straight to the login form without telling them to open the confirmation email first.
Check this first
Find the user under Authentication, Users in the Supabase dashboard and check whether the email shows as confirmed.
