429
what this HTTP status codes error means
How it shows up
HTTP/1.1 429 Too Many Requests
What it means
The client sent too many requests in a given amount of time, and the server is asking it to slow down. The response may include a Retry-After header that says how long to wait.
The usual cause in an AI-built app
AI-generated React code often puts a fetch inside a useEffect that runs again on every render, so the app sends the same request in a loop until the API's rate limit stops it.
Check this first
Open the browser Network tab, reload the page and check whether the same request repeats many times without you doing anything.
