what this Supabase data API error means
How it shows up
Could not find the function public.<function_name>(<arguments>) in the schema cache
What it means
The app called a database function through the API, but no function with that name and those argument names was found. The function may not exist, or the schema cache has not picked up a recent change to it.
The usual cause in an AI-built app
AI-generated code calls supabase.rpc() for a function that only exists in a migration file that was never run, or passes argument names that differ from the ones in the function's SQL.
Check this first
In the Supabase dashboard, look up the function in the public schema and compare its argument names, letter by letter, with the keys your rpc() call sends.
