What it means
Supabase Auth refused to send another email, such as a sign-up confirmation or a magic link, because too many emails have been sent. The user has to wait a while before trying again.
The usual cause in an AI-built app
AI-built apps usually keep the built-in Supabase email provider, which allows 2 emails per hour and is not meant for production. Testing sign-up or magic links a few times uses that up.
Check this first
Check in your Supabase Auth settings whether the project still sends email through the built-in provider instead of a custom SMTP server.
